"Talking? Is this one of your human concepts?" -- the Scientist to the Storyteller
I guess that's only really funny if you remember all those years when the Scientist didn't talk, and if you have also been present for these last six in which he is willing to talk but mostly only about machines, robots, math and electronics. But if you have had the privilege of knowing my spacecase, you are now cracking up. If I had been one of those obnoxious parents that voices her toddlers, I would have made him say that all the time.
His voice has changed, deepened, and I'm often startled at the sound of it from across the house. It sounds like there's a man here. I'm so glad I have video of this sort of thing to cling to as he grows up.
