couple more Hero tales

I put La Roux on early so I would wake up, a little bit so the kids would too. My groggy Hero poked and wandered and bumped down the hallway to me at 7:30, said, "I like that song. Can you put it on again when I'm awake so I can really hear it?" Assured, he slogged, banged and found his way back to bed and went immediately back to sleep with "As If By Magic" still blasting.

The day before . . .

the Hero: Ow! Ow! Ah! Ah! Ow!
Me: What?
the Hero: My eye!
Me: Did you get something in it?
the Hero: My finger.
