Me: "Get shoes and socks on."

Storyteller: "You mean socks and shoes?"

Me: "Yeah."

Storyteller: "Why did you say shoes and socks, then? Those are not commutative."

In other he's-smart news, Storyteller beat Scientist at chess today. This is the first time Storyteller's played in ages, never having studied it. The Scientist studies chess strategy, organized a tournament, can beat any kid in his school and a bunch of grown-ups he knows too. Then his little brother just sweeps in with a casual game and beats him easily.
