He is going to be six years old in October. Both of my other sons were reading before they were six, reading Chronicles of Narnia by then. The Hero isn't anywhere near ready for that kind of thing.
The other two boys weren't allowed to play video games before they were seven years old. The other two boys were homeschooled during that crucial kindergarten year, and during that year I focused entirely on reading.
Do you think it's a coincidence? I'm starting to think not.
